2008 Nebbiolo

The 2008 Nebbiolo is the consummate food wine defined by its balance and finesse. The aromatics open up with candied black cherries, vanilla and violets. Flavors of tart cherry liqueur, poached plums, licorice, nutmeg and clove with an earthy and leathery background continue with prominent and well-structured tannins. The finish is long and silky. This wine will complement a great variety of foods and age wonderfully for many years to come.
